Hannah Hudson

Engineering Associate

Hannah Hudson is an associate engineering intern for the Center for Community Energy. She is on the engineering design team working to design and model solar carports. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Engineering with a minor in PoliTcal Science at the University of San Diego (USD). She is a captain on the USD Division 1 swim team and a member of the campus’s pre-law fraternity.

Hannah has experience working in engineering at a non-profit called Clear Blue Sea. She worked to design the power subsystem of the companies new upcoming robot. She also developed and organized hundreds of design criteria into a well-organized document that could be easily interpreted. She has also worked on various projects throughout her undergraduate career, such as a solar water heater for the homeless, fan casing model, and hazardous waste removal car.

She is pursuing a career in the field of energy and hopes to help the country make the shi\ away from fossil fuels.She is from Reno, Nevada, and currently lives in San Diego. In her free Tme, she enjoys swimming, paddle-boarding, and lawn games with friends and family.
