Xinpeng Li

Xinpeng Li is a Data Analyst Intern at the Center for Community Energy, where he supports the evaluation and design of sustainable energy solutions, including solar carports and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. At CCE, he applies Monte Carlo simulations, regression models, and sensitivity analysis to build robust financial models that assess project feasibility and environmental impact. With proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Prophet) and Power BI, he develops data visualization dashboards and forecasting tools to aid strategic decision-making. Xinpeng also collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated EV user management and billing systems, integrating seamlessly with solar energy platforms via API.

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance at the University of California, San Diego, Xinpeng brings a strong foundation in econometrics, corporate finance, and data-driven analysis to advance the center’s clean energy goals.
