Sungjoon Hong

Hi! I’m Sungjoon Hong, a junior at UC San Diego majoring in Business Economics. At CCE, I’m helping analyze potential site locations and local market data to support community-focused clean energy projects.

I’m especially interested in how economic tools and data can be used to make sustainable energy more accessible and practical for everyday communities.

In the future, I hope to work in a space where I can combine my interest in sustainability, research, and real-world impact. When I’m not working or studying, I enjoy playing golf, tennis, and baseball. Also, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend and family.

I’m excited to be part of CCE and learn more about the role data can play in building a cleaner future.
