Sebastian Umbay

Hello! I’m Sebastian Umbay, a Market Research and Data Analyst Intern at CCE, where I get to explore how data can shape smarter, more sustainable communities. I’m studying Business Economics with a Design minor at UC San Diego, blending strategy with creativity to explore how data and design can shape better products and experiences.

Outside of CCE, I’ve worked at UCSD’s Atkinson Behavioral Research Lab, where I helped run all kinds of human behavioral studies. I also intern with KSDT Radio’s events committee, where I plan campus events and collaborate with local artists.

I’m super interested in product management and marketing, especially roles where I can bring together user insights, design thinking, and a bit of data magic. When I’m not working or studying, I’m probably swimming with UCSD’s club swim team or eating gluttonous amounts of food. Super excited to be with the team!
