Kayla Doan

Kayla Doan is a Business Economics and Music double major at UC San Diego, with minors in Finance and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. She is passionate about applying financial analysis to help businesses make data-driven decisions and improve profitability. 

Kayla has hands-on experience in financial operations, including accounts payable and bookkeeping, through her work at Southland Construction. She is currently building her skills further as a Financial Analyst Intern with the Center for Community Energy, where she supports forward-looking financial modeling and strategic business planning for clean energy solutions. 

In addition to her finance work, Kayla brings leadership experience as Music Director and Treasurer for her campus a cappella group, managing both creative direction and a $3,500 annual budget. Kayla is pursuing a career in corporate finance/FP&A and is particularly interested in helping businesses make informed financial decisions that drive growth and operational excellence.
