Christine Partington

Christine Partington is an associate marketing intern for the Center for Community Energy. She helps manage social media, advertise conferences, and research vehicle-to-grid and other environmental technologies and news. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Business Analytics at the University of San Diego (USD). She is the treasurer for the USD College Democrats club, and she works at the business school on campus as an economics tutor.

Christine has experience interning in marketing for a local olive oil company in the Bay Area. She helped create a social media presence and assisted with the redesigning and distribution of products. She also previously worked with Bambino Thrift Shop, a non-profit thrift store in Oakland. She assisted them by creating and running their Instagram as well as helping them organize and promote merchandise.

She is pursuing a career in marketing and aspires to work in a place where she can advocate for environmental justice and assist in the development of environmental solutions that will advance us towards a sustainable future.
She is from the Bay Area and currently lives in San Diego. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, and cooking plant-based dishes with friends and family.
